Nuts for Pups

What is Nuts for Pups?

Nuts for Pups is a fund-raising program sponsored by Stanley Brown Jewelist. Through the sale of t-shirts and cute re-usable pouches full of peanuts, we raise money for no-kill shelters and animal rescue organizations. Additionally, throughout the year, on designated days a percentage of our jewelry sales will be donated to the cause.

The effort is named Nuts for Pups after our dog Peanut, the Official Greeter at Stanley Brown Jewelist. Peanut is a four year old female Belgian Malinois. For the last year and a half, she has been competing in dog shows and has completed her Conformation Championship Title, Obedience CD and CDX Titles. In addition to that, she has CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and TDI (Therapy Dog International) Certification. She is currently working on her UD Title, learning to herd sheep for competition, and has just started tracking.

An organization will be chosen annually, based on need, as recipient of the funds we raise. We welcome your suggestions, however please keep in mind our criteria of no-kill or rescue groups only.

We appreciate your interest and support of this cause.

This year all money raised by Nuts for Pups will be donated to Orphans of the Storm, one of the country’s oldest and largest animal shelters. Since 1928, they have offered refuge and rehabilitation for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs and cats, finding them warm and loving adoptive homes each year.

100% of funds raised will be donated. Please stop by for a t-shirt or some nuts, which are always available at Stanley Brown Jewelist, located at 4751 N. Lincoln Ave. For more information please call: 773.561.7229.
T-shirts sell for $15.00; bags of nuts are one for $3.00 and two for $5.00.
